Decades before it was accepted by the international medical community, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais realized that plasticity is the natural order of the human brain. The brain changes itself throughout life as it learns. Neurological pathways are dynamic, reorganizing themselves in a natural response to new information.

Dr. Feldenkrais found that movement is a powerful way to communicate with the brain in order to potentiate the recognition of the value of change. He also understood that awareness of one’s own movements is of paramount importance in maximizing the brain’s potential for reorganization.
